This isn't even a question anymore. Everything has a Day one patch; its just normal operating procedure now. Not even worth talking about.
i've only really been folowing Star Citizen in terms of it crowd funding success. It's gameplay options have realy been a thing for me.
But this game looks like it could be humoungous!
Pete's anecdote about Yoshida really says it all. Sony's current success is based around a change of attitude. The PS4 is the least interesting of the current consoles, but people feel like they can trust Sony, and from this, we can gather that developers feel the same.
And with trust, it appears, you get success.
Thats cos it is Broforce. It one of them thar cross promotional thingies the marketing departments love so much
Is Star Citizen even technically an indie game any more?
Just goes to show the definition of indie games is really changing.
I missed this on PS3. Once i get my Ps4 i'm taking this and Destiny home with me.
Again... no one said the Tomb Raider thing is good thing. Just that we shouldn't be cracking down on exclusives, as a concept, because this was a shitty deal.
@HeWhoWalks
I never said the Tomb Raider thing was helpful. Just that exclusivity shouldn't be shouted down, because in this instance it was badly used.
Exclusives can be, and have been, great for gaming.
Dude. Read the article. No one said Tomb Raider's exclusivity is a positive move.
But exclusivity in general has been helpful.
Did you read the article? The Tomb Raider situation isn't a good thing, but we shouldn't be throwing the baby out with the bathwater.
There have been some really great exclusive games throughout gaming history and none of them were damaging to gaming as a whole.
Done right, exclusives are a positive force.
Well that's something different, if nothing else.
Still I rather play Broforce to show how many I am :D
I think perhaps you may be missing the point. The Tomb Raider thing is not an ideal situation, but exclusives as a general rule have given us tons of amazing games.
We should celebrate that.
Hearing that the winner is winning wasn't interesting news :D
Retro for the win.
Sure the trailer is cool looking, but this is still a franchise in decline.
The lack of pools is of less concern to me than the lack of one of the age groups.
Every year its seems to me like they're reaching for new things to hype about this series. It's still just a soccer game. I think you guys have mastered it already.
Anyone feel like there might be too many games? Kidding. There's never enough games.
This is cool and all, but I don't really see this bringing new people onboard. I think WOW has reached it's saturation point and any new expansions will be exercises in rentention rather than new business.
This is not new information. This was true ten years ago already.
